RAAY Foundation has significantly improved the lives and livelihoods of marginalised through the Women Empowerment Program with a purpose of poverty reduction through sustainable livelihood creation by imparting employable skills, infrastructure development and small enterprise development, leading to income generation and employment opportunities in a sustainable way.
RAAY Foundation is dedicated to the socio-economic upliftment of the poor endeavours to create a society with equal opportunities by adopting a holistic approach to deliver end-to-end services and designing the program after meeting the beneficiaries to empower and become profitable and escape poverty.
Our Initiatives:-
1.Capacity Building and Vocational Training: To deliver innovative and self-sustaining programmes to support diverse groups and bring a social impact. A plethora of women reaped the benefits and have been positively affected.
2.Workshop and Seminars: To guide the women and familiarise about the policies of financial security of women through different schemes that are provided by the government.
Raay Foundation in collaboration with Chilume work towards creating an environment for women where they can make their own decisions of their well-being as well as for society. The aim is to empower and uplift the deprived communities, enable women and generate livelihoods which will help them to get better quality of life. Under this project, 150 deprived women are connected with banks by Self Help Group after a training provided in the area of capacity building, life skills, EDP, Beautician, tailoring and etc. for increasing their self-confidence level, livelihood growth and empowerment.
RAAY Foundation is planning to expand its works to other parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka, hoping to reach over 10,000 rural poor families in the next three years and deliver best services at the last mile.
